Look at why people have made the drop-out-replace mistake in the same exact way in the past. Look at how they've paid for it. Learn from it. Do not repeat it. to work through that inner devastation... that profound regret, the depth of which you never knew existed as you watch a nation historically crumble before your very eyes... and duly resulting, in part, from a movement that was so tragically 11th hour-short-sighted for you to have rashly, and fear-reactively, been a part of.

Do not be that one character in the hostage film... who's so freaked out that they suddenly just stand up and try to bolt outside the door... and that becomes *the reason* they are shot and put down by the hostage takers.

These are the hunters beating through the brush to make it too frighteningly noisy for the prey to tolerate staying in solid cover position within it....

then the hunters picking them off as soon as their prey escape what they think is intolerable "brush noise"... only to meet their demise at the hands of the ones who scared them right out of the brush's cover... and right into their line of fire. 

Turbulence is a part of going the distance. We can't let turbulence make us jump out of the plane because we're afraid of what the turbulence will do to us... thus jumping out of the plane to our deaths.

Stay. Fight. Win.

Don't suddenly, in a frantic moment, relinquish your cover to try to run back into the house for that "bigger gun" you think will be better... than the loaded one you have in your hand while you're still in the actual most leveraged position with more cover... than if you suddenly and misguidedly jumped up for the house-run. 

Because trying to run in fear back into that house, forgetting all of that advantage that we have right now... before you bolt, reasoning... that the other gun all the way in the house on the other side of the open battlefield... looks, in your fear-saturated mind's eye, bigger and shinier... rather than holding your position, capitalizing on your leverage, and battling this from the leverage they don't want us to realize we do have...

is... exactly... when... they pick us all off.

Plus... once they have us divided... yet another huge advantage that maga Republicans are salivating over us falling into exactly... that... trap. They're praying right now that we go down said road, start fracturing, start arguing with each other, and stop uniformly, unwaveringly, with unshakeable backing, standing behind our goddamn president.

We are so close... to choosing to avoid... utter... catastrophic... collapse. So... so close. And too close... to choosing not to.

This is the moment which we could, very potentially, for the rest of our entire lives... wish we could return to... time travel back... & make a clearer-headed decision with what seems so obvious when you just.. step back.. and look at it. And we will never... be able... to go back... from a fascist leadership... for generations to come, for your children, for your daughters, for their children... by the man who brought us a resume... even as depraved as this:

Sidenote afterthoughts: Steve Bannon has made a lot of judgment calls in his life of late. 

Show of hands🤚: who thinks now would be the perfectly wise time to start taking very publicly and... all-of-a-sudden... widely expressed political advice from him?

Steve Bannon says "no regrets" about defying subpoena, going to prison

I hope maga takes Bannon's advice. And we don't. Anyone else get a distinct impression it's a bit of an indirect gaslight?

Bannon publicly releases a statement essentially 'warning' Trump within our earshot, so to speak, advising that maga's 'making a mistake' by trying to get Biden out of the race because 'if the dems do, they'll win'. A statement released to the press for the Democrats... to see.

Hence their hope for a sudden cut to Naive Dems: "Hear THAT? Steve Bannon says we'll win if we get rid of Joe Biden! Ax BIDEN! Ax BIDEN!"

Then cut to Trump: "Thanks Steve. They took the bait... hook... line... and sinker."

Their whole campaign is gaslighting. It's all they've got now.
